தமிழ்நாட்டில் பத்து நாட்களுக்கு டோல்கேட்டில் கட்டணம் வசூலிப்பதை நிறுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற கோரிக்கை நிறைவேறி விட்டது.
உடனே நடவடிக்கை எடுத்த பிரதமர் அலுவலகம், போக்குவரத்து அமைச்சகம், அமைச்சர், ஆகியோருக்கு என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி.

நான் அனுப்பிய விண்ணப்பத்தை இப்போது வெளியிடுவதில் தவறில்லை என்பதால் பகிர்கிறேன்.

Sub.: Request to make Toll-Free roads in Tamil Nadu for Chennai disaster
Sir,
Chennai has witnessed heavy rains and it has been declared disaster zone.
We, the people from various parts of the state and country, are coordinating and extending helps to the affected people through social media.
We have been collecting and sending relief material from various cities like Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Bangalore, etc.
Some thousands of affected people are moving to other cities; worried relatives of Chennaites from other cities are visiting to Chennai to see their dear ones. Volunteers are also moving from many cities to rain affected Chennai, Cuddalore, Pondicherry etc.
At this crucial juncture, Toll Gates are collecting charges from all vehicles. Hence, we request you to please take necessary action to make all toll gates in Tamil Nadu as toll-free roads for at least 10 days.
